Dear Microsoft Support,

I saw the reports of some purchase and refund continuously on Microsoft Store using my Mastercard account which I have no idea about today, can Microsoft help me to ban this account which is using my Mastercard account?

Thank you,

Duong

Using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what the payments are for.

If you are unable to access your Microsoft account(s) online, check the Profile section for any Email address that may have been added to your account, if you do not find anything strange listed on your account, then your account has not been hacked

If you are unable to find what those payments are for on any Microsoft account you may have, the best option is to contact your bank and cancel the card to stop whoever gained access to your banking details

Yes. For an unrecognized Microsoft charge, use the Manage your payments page in the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate. That is the supported way to review charges that are not recognized.

If the charge is tied to a Microsoft subscription, also check Services & subscriptions to confirm whether recurring billing is active and whether the charge came from the wrong Microsoft account.

If the purchases or refunds do not belong to any known Microsoft account, or if the payment method may be compromised, contact the bank or card provider immediately and report the card as compromised to prevent more charges. Disputing charges alone does not stop future fraudulent charges.

If a payment method is saved on a Microsoft account that is accessible, it can be removed from Payment options:

    1. Sign in to the Payment options page.
    2. Find the payment method.
    3. Select Remove and confirm.

For Microsoft-side help with the billing issue, use Contact Microsoft Support and select Get Help, then Contact Support.
