A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
For a subscription or account disabled for suspicious activity, the supported path is to open a support request for review. Basic support is sufficient for billing and subscription issues.
Use this path in the Azure portal:
- Open Help + support.
- Select Create a support request.
- Choose Subscription management.
- For the problem, use Re-enable my subscription or Could not reactivate by self-service if shown.
- Continue through the form, and if suggested articles appear, return to the support request flow and finish submitting the case.
If the portal shows the support assistant experience, switch to the classic experience if needed, then continue with Subscription management and create the request.
For Microsoft 365 or Entra-related access blocked because of a security or compliance review, access might remain blocked until identity or compliance checks are completed. In that case:
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, use Help & support at the bottom-right.
- Complete any identity and compliance checks requested by Microsoft Support.
If the disabled Azure subscription is later reactivated, resource creation or management can still be delayed for up to 30 minutes. If that delay exceeds 30 minutes, contact Azure Billing Support.
