Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
A Microsoft 365 charge showing on a credit card but not in order history usually means one of these:
- The purchase is tied to a different Microsoft account.
- The subscription was bought through a third party such as Apple, Google, Amazon, or another retailer.
- The correct account is not currently signed in.
Try this:
- Sign in to the Microsoft subscriptions page at account.microsoft.com/services using the Microsoft account most likely used for the purchase.
- Check whether Microsoft 365 appears there.
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, that subscription is billed by Microsoft.
- If it does not appear, sign out and repeat with any other Microsoft accounts previously used.
- Check order history for each account and make sure the date range includes 8/21/26.
- Check the card statement or receipt to identify the seller.
- If the charge came from Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, billing must be managed with that provider directly.
- Microsoft cannot cancel, refund, or modify billing for third-party purchases.
If the subscription was purchased in an app on iPhone/iPad or Android:
- iPhone/iPad: manage it in Apple ID settings.
- Android: manage it in Google Play.
- Always sign in with the same Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription.
If the purchase was made directly from Microsoft but does not appear under any Microsoft account, contact Microsoft Support and provide the purchase date, amount, and proof of purchase.
If the issue is that the product was associated with someone else’s account during setup, support is also the path to resolve it.
