Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello,
Unfortunately, a Microsoft 365 subscription cannot be transferred from one Microsoft account to another.
In this situation, you will need to sign in to the Microsoft account that currently has the subscription and cancel it. Once the subscription is canceled, a refund will be issued to your original payment method, typically within 3-5 business days.
You can manage your subscription here:
https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Please sign in using the email address associated with the subscription.
- If you have forgotten the password for that account, try resetting the password first and then sign in to cancel the subscription.
If you are still experiencing issues, you can contact Microsoft Accounts and Billing Support for assistance. Since you no longer have access to the account, I cannot confirm whether they will be able to cancel the subscription or issue a refund from their end, as they will not be able to verify your identity. However, you can chat with a support agent to discuss the available options.
- Go to this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact
- Type Talk to an agent then click Get Help.
- At the bottom of the page click Contact Support. Sign in to your Microsoft account if needed.
- Select Other Products then Billing and Account Profile questions then Confirm.
- Click Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
Note: If you purchased the Microsoft 365 subscription through a third-party platform such as Apple or Google, the billing and refund process is managed by that platform. In this case, you will need to contact Apple Support or Google Support directly to request a refund.
