    Hi

If it still says account creation is blocked, could you share a screenshot of the full message, with your email address hidden? Also, does it appear before or after you verify your Gmail address?

Yes. A Microsoft account can be created with an existing Gmail address.

    Steps:

    1. Go to Create an account.
    2. Enter the Gmail address.
    3. Create a password and select Next.
    4. Enter name, country/region, and birthdate.
    5. Complete the captcha.
    6. Verify the Gmail address with the code Microsoft sends to that address.

    Important points:

    • Using a Gmail address for a Microsoft account does not mean Google credentials can be used to sign in. The Gmail address is used as the username/sign-in alias for the Microsoft account.
    • Gmail messages do not automatically appear in the Microsoft account or Outlook. To see Gmail mail in Outlook, the Gmail account must be added separately in Outlook.
    • An email address previously used for a Microsoft account cannot be reused, even if that old account was closed.

For the "account creation is blocked" problem, the supported options are:

    1. Try a different sign-up method, such as using an email address instead of a phone number.
    2. Try creating the account on another device.
    3. Stop repeated attempts for at least 24 hours, because repeated registrations can keep triggering the restriction.
    4. Disable VPN, proxy, ad blocker, or privacy extensions, clear browser cache, ensure JavaScript is enabled, and try again in a normal browser window instead of Incognito/InPrivate.
    5. If setting up a new PC, start with an existing Microsoft account or a local account, then add or switch to the new Microsoft account later.
    6. If it still fails, use the Sign-in helper or Contact Microsoft Support.
