Using Outlook for Android for personal email and calendar management
Welcome Adrian Catchpole,
Thank you for posting to Microsoft Q&A.
To better understand the problem, could you please confirm the following?
- Does the “Send” button remain unavailable for every new email, or only for certain messages?
- When this happens, have you already entered at least one recipient in the “To” field?
- What version of the Outlook app is installed on your Android phone?
- Does the app crash when opening every hyperlink, or only links from specific emails?
In the meantime, please try these quick checks:
Step 1: Open Outlook and create a new email. Make sure a valid recipient address is entered in the “To” field and check whether “Send” becomes available.
Step 2: Update Outlook from Google Play Store to the latest version
- Open Google Play Store
- Search for Microsoft Outlook
- Install any available update
Step 3: Clear the Outlook app cache
- Open Android Settings > Apps > Outlook > Storage
- Select Clear cache
- Restart Outlook and test again
Step 4: If hyperlinks continue to crash Outlook, try opening the same email in Outlook on the web at Outlook.com and check whether the links open normally there.
