Hi There

I am having trouble installing Office 365 on my Laptop (Windows 11)

We always get the error 30015-25 when trying to install, i was trying to install through microsoft store, in the screenshot you can see it asking to restart but even after restarting it shows the same error

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi MISHAL CH,

Error 30015-25 can sometimes occur when Windows is detecting remnants of a previous Office installation, even if Office is not visibly installed. Since the restart loop has already been observed, you may want to check for leftover Office components before attempting another installation.

    Please try the following checks:

    1. Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Uninstall any entries related to Microsoft 365, Office, or Microsoft Office Desktop Apps.
    3. Restart the PC.
    4. Run Microsoft's Office uninstall tool (SaRA) to remove any remaining Office installation files.
    5. After cleanup, install Microsoft 365 again from your Microsoft account portal rather than relying on the existing Store installation attempt.

If the installation still fails, please let me know whether this is a new PC or whether Office was previously installed on the device, as that can help narrow down the cause further.

Try these fixes in order for an Office install error on Windows 11:

    1. Restart, then install again
      • Save work and close all apps.
      • Restart the laptop.
      • After restart, sign in with the Microsoft account associated with Microsoft 365 and try the install again.
    2. Use the offline installer instead of Microsoft Store
      • The offline installer can bypass proxy, firewall, antivirus, or Internet connection issues that can block Microsoft 365 installation.
      • This is especially useful when the install keeps failing after restart.
    3. Repair any existing Office installation If part of Office is already present or a previous install failed:
      • Right-click Start.
      • Select Installed apps.
      • Select the Microsoft Office product.
      • Choose Modify.
      • Select Online Repair > Repair.
      • Follow the on-screen steps.
    4. Check for a partial installation Some install errors appear near the end even when Office is mostly installed.
      • Open Start and look for apps such as Word or Excel.
      • If apps are present but not working correctly, run the Online Repair steps above.
    5. If network restrictions are involved
      • Try a wired Internet connection.
      • Try installing from another network/location.
      • Temporarily turn off proxy settings in Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy and try again.
    6. If disk space is low
      • Free up space on the hard drive, then try the installation again.
