Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello @omar hosam Elashmawy,
Based on your description, it sounds like your account is protected by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Please check whether the Microsoft Authenticator app is installed on your mobile device and verify that your student account is registered in the app. Also, make sure notifications are enabled for the Authenticator app on your device, as sign-in approval requests are typically delivered through app notifications.
If you do not receive approval notifications, try selecting Use another verification method / Sign in another way on the sign-in page.
If the problem continues, please reach out to your IT administrator/Microsoft 365 administrator and ask them to reset your MFA settings using the Microsoft Entra Admin Center. If you haven’t yet reached out, here’s a helpful guide to locate your Microsoft 365 administrator: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
You start by contacting the person who originally provided your account, such as a teacher, school administrator, or IT support staff. They can verify permissions, confirm your group membership, and check for restrictions. If unsure who to reach out to, begin with a teacher or staff member you regularly interact with; they can assist or direct you to the right department. Additionally, use your school’s helpdesk portal, support email, or tech support channel for assistance.
Ask your administrator to follow these steps:
- Go to Microsoft Entra Admin Center: https://entra.microsoft.com
- Navigate to Entra ID > Users > All Users.
- Select your user account.
- Go to Authentication Methods.
- Click "Require re-register multifactor authentication".
This will reset your MFA settings. The next time you sign in, you’ll be prompted to set up the Authenticator app again using a QR code.
I hope this helps. If you still need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to leave a comment.
