How do you add a calendar from a separate outlook account so both calendars can be seen in a view?

For Outlook on the web, add the other calendar to the current calendar view like this:

    1. Open Calendar.
    2. In the navigation pane, right-click Other calendars and select Open calendar.
    3. Choose one of these options:
      • From directory: use this if the other calendar belongs to someone in the same organization.
      • Internet calendar: use this if the other account provides an ICS calendar URL.
    4. Select Open.
    5. After it is added, the calendar can be renamed, recolored, or removed from the view.

If the goal is to see both calendars together, Outlook supports viewing multiple calendars at the same time. In Outlook.com, calendars can be shown together in merged view or split view by selecting the calendars in the navigation pane.

For new Outlook for Windows, directly adding another person’s calendar to the calendar view is only possible with work or school accounts:

    1. Select Calendar.
    2. Select Add calendar.
    3. Select Add from directory.
    4. Select the user whose calendar should be added.

If using a personal account, the other person must first share the calendar before it can be added.

    Good day Ecker,

You can view both calendars in Outlook on the web, but the setup depends on the type of account.

1/ If the other calendar is a personal Outlook.com or Google account

Open Outlook on the web and select Calendar.

Select Add calendar > Add personal calendars.

    Choose Outlook.com or Google.

Sign in to the other account and complete the connection.

2/ Add a calendar from your organization's directory

If the other calendar belongs to someone in the same Microsoft 365 organization, you can add it directly from the directory.

Sign in to Outlook on the web and open Calendar.

Select Add calendar > Add from directory.

    Select your work account.

Enter the name or email address of the person whose calendar you want to add.

Choose the calendar group where you want it to appear, such as People's calendars and then select Save.

3/ If the other calendar is another work or school account

Sign in to the other account and open Calendar.

Select Share calendar, choose the calendar, enter your current account and select Share.

    User's image

Open the invitation from your current account and select Accept.

    4/ If sharing isn't available

Open Calendar and select Add calendar.

    Select Subscribe from web.

Enter the calendar's ICS link and select Import.

    User's image

After that, select the check box next to each calendar in the left pane. Outlook will display them together in a single view and each calendar will appear in a different color so you can easily identify which events belong to which calendar.
