Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello lazare,
To better understand the issue and provide the appropriate guidance, could you please confirm the following information?
- What exact error message appears when you try to sign in? If possible, please share a full screenshot after hiding your email address and any personal or sensitive information.
- Is the affected account a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account provided by the educational institution?
- Does the issue affect only your account, or are other teachers and students experiencing the same problem?
- Are you a Microsoft 365 administrator for the institution?
- When you mention upgrading the Office setup, are you trying to reactivate the institution’s existing Microsoft 365 environment, or purchase and set up a new Microsoft 365 Education subscription?
- What is the exact name of the subscription or license that the institution previously used?
If available, please also share the steps you followed before the error appeared. This information will help me determine whether the issue is related to the account, license, subscription, sign-in process, or the institution’s Microsoft 365 environment.
If this is a school-managed account and you are not an administrator, please contact your institution’s IT department or Microsoft 365 administrator, as they can check the account status, assigned license, and tenant settings.
If you are the Microsoft 365 administrator for the institution, please confirm this in your reply and provide the requested details so I can offer more appropriate guidance.
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
