Managing meetings and events using Outlook on the web for business
Yep - you can transfer an Outlook calendar to Excel using the built-in export feature in the classic Outlook desktop application. Outlook does not natively export a calendar directly to a Word document or an Apple Numbers file, but both can be handled easily after exporting the calendar data.
To export the calendar to Excel, open the classic Outlook desktop app and select File > Open & Export > Import/Export. Select Export to a file and click Next. Choose Comma Separated Values (CSV) and click Next. Select the Calendar folder you want to export and click Next.
Choose where you want to save the CSV file, click Next, and then click Finish. If Outlook asks you to specify a date range, select the period of calendar information you want to export. Once the export is complete, open the resulting .csv file in Excel. The calendar entries will appear as spreadsheet data, with information such as the subject, start and end dates/times, location, and other available fields.
For Word, open the exported calendar data in Excel, select the information you want, copy it, and paste it into Word. Word will allow you to retain the information as a table, which you can then format as needed.
For Apple Numbers, you can open the CSV file directly in Numbers. In Numbers, select File > Open and select the CSV file exported from Outlook. Numbers will import the calendar entries into a spreadsheet, where you can reorganize and format the information.
Note that this process transfers the calendar information as spreadsheet/table data. It does not recreate the Outlook calendar interface, calendar colors, views, or all Outlook-specific calendar functionality.
