Have some issues with my laptop... 0xc0000221 and 0xc0000225.

After I finished using it, I tried to update and restart. Whole stuff glitched and the Recovery blue screen appeared, nothing happens when I press Enter, winRE not working, F8 not working, Safe Mode not working, only the firmware program and that is pretty much it. When I first boot it up it is the 0xc0000221, when I try and press F1 for recovery environment, it is now 0xc000025. Tried to repair my PC with a USB and it did not work. Reinstalling Windows 11 would be my last resort, but I am really considering it now. After several attempts, 0xc0000001 popped up, disappeared after another restart. What is my best solution and - if no fixing is possible - What is the best outcome?

If those other methods are not working to access the Recovery Environment, are you able to force your laptop into the Recovery Environment using these steps.

Start your laptop, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

It's an ASUS TUF F15 so it is the ASUS logo instead; tried it and didn't work. I do appreciate the answer tho.

If you are unable to access the Recovery Environment using those steps, and if all the options in the recovery environment on the USB are failing to resolve the problem, including uninstalling the latest update, accessing Safe Mode, and a system restore, then the only remaining option will be to clean install Windows using the bootable USB

Also, you mention you see the Asus logo on startup, do you not then see the spinning dots to indicate Windows is attempting to start before the error screen?

Alright so I can't even reinstall Windows 11 as it doesn't let me install it on any disk X partition Y due to BitLocker being active, which to be disabled I need access to Control Panel (which I can't use)... This is funnily outrageous. Is there anything I can do at all?

Oh, there is no loading circle or spinning dots at all. It is just a few seconds (not more than 5) when ASUS pops up followed by the blue screen.

If your drive is encrypted with Bitlocker, at the start of the installation process, you need to delete every partition on the internal drive to remove the encryption.

Then, when the whole drive is listed as 'Unallocated Space', select that and click Next to begin the installation.

Please note, this process will result in loss of all data on the drive.

Forgot to mention, I can't even use the cmd screen. Nothing at all.

Since WinRE from the internal drive is not working, F8 and Safe Mode are not working, and a repair attempt from USB already failed, the best remaining path is:

Try a full power cycle and restart once more. In some cases, repeated boot failures are resolved by a restart.
Boot from Windows installation or recovery USB again and use it to reach recovery tools from external media instead of the broken local recovery environment.
- Start the PC from the USB.
- Select Repair this computer.
- Open Troubleshoot.
From recovery, try these options in this order:
- Uninstall updates: Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Uninstall updates. This is the best option if the problem started right after an update. Files and apps are not affected.
- Reset this PC: Troubleshoot > Reset this PC. Choose to keep personal files if that option is available. This reinstalls Windows.
If recovery options still fail, reinstall Windows from installation media. This is the most likely best outcome when startup repair and recovery tools do not work.
- Warning: reinstalling Windows from installation media removes everything from the device.
- For best compatibility, use recovery media from the PC manufacturer if available, because it can include hardware-specific drivers and factory apps.
If important files are still on the laptop, prioritize file recovery before a clean reinstall if possible.

Given the symptoms—multiple startup error codes, broken local WinRE, and failed USB repair—the practical best solution is usually booting from external installation media and either using its recovery tools or proceeding with a reinstall. If external recovery tools also fail, the best outcome is a clean reinstall of Windows 11, ideally using OEM recovery media when available.

If BitLocker is enabled, the BitLocker recovery key is required to access most recovery options in WinRE.
