However, because your account now displays only Microsoft 365 Premium, do not cancel Premium merely to test the refund system. Tell the representative clearly:

“I am keeping Microsoft 365 Premium. I am requesting reimbursement only for today’s $129.99 Microsoft 365 Family renewal, which was immediately superseded by the Premium purchase.”

Have both order numbers, the purchase times, the last four digits of the payment method, and screenshots of Order history and Services & subscriptions available. Also request a case number before ending the call.

If you upgraded your subscription, for example from Microsoft 365 Family to Microsoft 365 Premium, using one and the same account, the end date has been adjusted, effectively adding the two subscription products together. You can't cancel without canceling the entire subscription. Maybe that is what you want. Turn off recurring billing and cancel from your account. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/subscriptions/cancel-a-microsoft-365-subscription .

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.
