Microsoft Office Add-in Catalog and Entitlement Failure

I am a personal Microsoft 365 Family subscriber. The ChatGPT Office add-in previously worked normally, but it can no longer update or load in Excel, Word, or PowerPoint. Excel displays “You do not have permission to use this add-in,” and Word displays “Unable to connect to the catalog.” I have signed in again, cleared the Office add-in cache, checked connected experiences, and reinstalled the add-in, but the issue persists. Excel logs show Office.Extensibility.Catalog.GetEntitlementFailed (0x80002F19) and DownLoadManifestCompleteFailed (0x8004324F). Please investigate the Office Add-ins catalog and entitlement status for my personal account.

    Hello,

I believe this is a server-side issue. I am seeing reports from users in different locales experiencing the same problem. It seems to affect add-ins in general when using the desktop version of the app with personal account.

I am experiencing the same issue on my end as well. I have not found any official Microsoft announcement about this yet, but at this point, it does not appear to be something you can fix locally. We may need to wait for Microsoft to address it on their end.
