Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook on the web for business
Dear Mary,
Unfortunately, as a forum moderator, I am not able to inspect your mailbox or its sign in activity to diagnose and fix this directly. My role here is limited to providing general guidance you can apply from your side. Since you have had both sign in trouble and missing mail, the first thing to establish is whether the problem sits with the mailbox itself or only with how you are accessing it. If you are working in Outlook on the web, that already rules out a lot of the usual local causes such as a corrupted profile or cached data file. A few details would help me narrow this down:
- Is this a personal Outlook.com account or a work or school account?
- Does the page show any error or status message when mail fails to arrive?
- Can you send a test message to yourself, and does it arrive?
- Have you tried a different browser or an InPrivate window?
- Is the sign in problem on the travel laptop still happening, or has that settled?
- Have you checked Settings > Mail > Rules for anything moving incoming mail elsewhere?
If this is a work or school account, it would also help to know whether any colleagues are seeing the same thing, as that would point to something wider than your mailbox. A screenshot of what you see would also help a lot. Please mask any personal information such as your name, email address, or account details before posting it. Once you share these details, I will do my best to help you sort this out. Looking forward to your reply.
