    I think ur phone’s camera doesn’t show up in Windows Hello because Hello only works with IR cameras. A normal phone camera can’t be used for face sign‑in.

    Adding: If you just want to use your phone camera on your laptop, use DroidCam or Microsoft Phone Link. They let the laptop treat the phone camera as a regular webcam.

    Just to confirm, do you want to use your phone camera as a webcam on the laptop?

    Please also press Windows key + R, type winver, and tell us whether the laptop runs Windows 10 or Windows 11.

    • Windows 11: You may be able to use Microsoft’s built-in connected-camera feature with a compatible Android phone.
    • Windows 10: That Microsoft feature is unavailable, so you would need a third-party webcam app such as DroidCam.

    A phone’s regular camera also cannot be used for Windows Hello face sign-in because Windows Hello requires a compatible infrared camera.
