Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hello Carlos Arredondo,
I understand that part of the task appears compressed into a narrow area, and dragging the sizing handles does not expand it.
Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access your Outlook data directly.
The screenshot does not clearly show whether the narrow object is a file attachment, an embedded Outlook item, or content created in classic Outlook. Could you confirm:
- What type of attachment or content should appear there?
- Was the task originally created in new Outlook, classic Outlook, or Microsoft To Do?
- Can the attachment be opened by selecting or double-selecting it?
- Does the same task display correctly in Outlook on the web or Microsoft To Do?
New Outlook manages tasks through Microsoft To Do, but the documented task controls do not include an option for resizing an attachment or embedded-object area. For reference: Add files to your tasks
These details will help determine whether this is an attachment-display problem or a compatibility issue with a task created in another Outlook version.
