is the company store down till when

I need to grab purchased software keys and now since 6/29 site access has been down. It states it was only till 7/1 but yet I cannot get on the company store because it still says it's down from 6/29 to 7/1. Any help would be awesome.

Yes it does seems strange that the site (https://store.ecompanystore.com/microsoft/Shop/) is still down even though it only were suppose to be until end of 1st July.

With respect, a post like this is not helpful. The store is down for everybody and this is clearly unrelated to the network being used. "I don't think it should be down for long" doesn't contribute anything. Non-answers are rife on this site, and they just add noise and confusion

Its now Jul 6, the access to the store is still down. The viva communities don't work for me as I am an alumnus. Does anyone have a realistic ETA?

Hi, fellow alumni.

I've been reporting the "This store isn't available in your country" issue when signing-in to the new Company Store since early July ... but have not had any help or support from the company store team, nor the Alumni organization.

However ... I just stumbled across something by accident and hope it helps others ...

If you're looking to renew your O365 Family subscription, note that you can now request a product key from the "My Benefits" section of the Alumni site here: https://www.microsoftalumni.com/mybenefits/

Of course, this doesn't help those of us also needing to renew O365 Business etc., but it at least gets those of us with decades of email, OneDrive file & photo storage, etc. tied up in O365 Family.

Hopefully, the Store/Alumni team are aware of this (major) issue and are working toward a solution, but the way that this migration has been handled and communicated, and how poorly issues have been handled (i.e. not at all) is an utter disgrace.

Do better, Microsoft ... quickly.

FWIW, I was able to sign into the store from the corpnet on campus but not from home even with VPN. Even then, multiple MS HW products not available. Not sure if this helps but it's the current status.

I received this from alumni.

Following recent updates to the Microsoft Company Store platform, access is now validated based on the eligibility requirements established by Microsoft for this benefit. At this time, your account shows your location as Australia, which is not included in the list of countries currently supported by the Microsoft Company Store.

If the country listed in your Alumni membership account is incorrect, please let me know and I'd be happy to update it for you.

I still don’t see F&F in my Account Home and just had support tell me “Friends & Family access is only available to full-time Microsoft employees. As an Alumni, you would not be eligible to generate or provide Friends & Family discounts.”

But that was after much back and forth where they did not seem to understand what I was asking about.

Friends and Family is not in my Alumni account as of yesterday but @microsoftalumni is still advertising it as a benefit as of June 2026 so unless they are gutting the alumni program, Im hoping the support person was in the dark. I spoke with MS Alumni support via email about 6 weeks ago and they said it was coming but no timeline available.
