is the company store down till when

I need to grab purchased software keys and now since 6/29 site access has been down. It states it was only till 7/1 but yet I cannot get on the company store because it still says it's down from 6/29 to 7/1. Any help would be awesome.

With respect, a post like this is not helpful. The store is down for everybody and this is clearly unrelated to the network being used. "I don't think it should be down for long" doesn't contribute anything. Non-answers are rife on this site, and they just add noise and confusion

It seems to still be down, I was shared a friends and family code but when I try to login from the US I get an error that says: This store isn't available in your country

7.22.26 I heard from the msft external support team who is the interface to the Alumni. Friends and Family ETA is a week.

I still don’t see F&F in my Account Home and just had support tell me “Friends & Family access is only available to full-time Microsoft employees. As an Alumni, you would not be eligible to generate or provide Friends & Family discounts.”

But that was after much back and forth where they did not seem to understand what I was asking about.

Friends and Family is not in my Alumni account as of yesterday but @microsoftalumni is still advertising it as a benefit as of June 2026 so unless they are gutting the alumni program, Im hoping the support person was in the dark. I spoke with MS Alumni support via email about 6 weeks ago and they said it was coming but no timeline available.

Any updates?

As of July 9, 2026, Microsoft Company Store access via MicrosoftAlumni website is unaccessible.

I searched Microsoft sites for Learn and Support, as well as Google and AI but could not find any explanation or estimated time for service restoration following the scheduled upgrade (June 29 – July 1).

I have emailed the contact email provided by Alumni site requesting an update, as alumni access to the Company Store remains unavailable.

Additional troubleshooting (already completed):

Tested using an InPrivate browser session.
Through Google, found an Alumni Company Store page, domain owned by CSC Corp. Avoid.

Noticed the alternate domain using "msecompanystores" (plural "stores").

Verified the site using NordVPN Threat Protection, VirusTotal, Google Safe Browsing, URLVoid, and WHOIS. Nothing suspicious was identified. Google and AI state the recent upgrade was handled internal to MSFT and the companies / contact mentioned on the webpage are not sited as involved.
The webpage references MS Support for assistance, but I found no information regarding the continued unavailability of alumni access.

Currently awaiting a response from Microsoft Alumni. Support / Learning team ... can you assist with an update?

I used to use "https://store.ecompanystore.com" which now sends me to this useless page: "https://corp-imaging.com/" -- Ive tried to log in here: https://www.msecompanystores.com/en-us/account/login?returnTo=%2Fen-us%2F but it tells me that "The email address provided was not found." (I am not a MS employee-- Im a friend/family member).

Before when the login was working I accessed the very same url. But after login I was displayed information that friends and family is not available yet. Really getting frustrated here

Me too. I’m an ex-Microsoft employee using the Friends & Family programme. I’d been trying to renew my Microsoft 365 subscription for over three weeks, but fist could access the new Company Store but it had no products and now when I try to log in I get the message ""This store isn't available in your country". My subscription has now expired and I’ve lost access to th****e Microsoft 365 services I rely on for job applications, CVs, interview preparation and email.

I contacted support 3 times before it expired and explained that I’m currently out of work, actively interviewing and could miss important recruiter emails. Their final response was simply that there is “no alternative method” available and an apology, with no workaround, temporary licence, timescale or confirmation that the Friends & Family price will be honoured later.

I’m now being forced to consider paying full retail price because a known store issue prevented me from renewing. This has been handled incredibly poorly.

7.20.2026 Update. Retired MSFTie here. Alumni now have access to Co. Store. I did have to re-enroll and used the same email I use for Alumni Portal and the assigned MSA ID. I was able to purchase a software subscription, add the key to the account and all is working as designed. Friends & Family was not yet available, the page literally says "coming soon". If I hear news on Friends & Family, I'll share, til then ... waiting with you.

@Kanishk . My Alumni membership is paid through 2027, so I only needed to purchase a O365. Alumni site should let you sign up in US if your a forward employee and need to renew.

If your using friends and family from a former employee, my hunch is they'll be able to assist you after FF is back online. Currently in the US it reads "coming soon".

If you have an active Alumni account, to access the store...

Repro:

Log into microsoftalumni website

Click Store in benefits menu

Create new acct in ms store using same email in step 1. You will need you MS # that is listeed under the profile on alumni site.

The system will validate your MS#, and my guess is the email. After that purchase, at least US based, is functioning.

No friends and family available in US ... page says coming soon.
