Remove old work email IDs from OneDrive login dropdown

Hi, still struggling to get rid of old work email that pops up if i hit "add account" to my One Drive settings.

Hi Sumit, trying all those suggestions. I'm also wondering if Team Viewer could be the culprit ? It has the image of me as per my work account.

No worries, please proceed to the Registry edit.

However, you can try these commands:

%localappdata%\\Microsoft\\OneDrive\\onedrive.exe /reset

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Microsoft OneDrive\\onedrive.exe /reset

Hi Sumit, I had one further thought. I have other devices that are also on One Drive, Outlook, etc. I've just gone to my other laptop and pulled up Excel and Word, where i was still signed in to my old work account. I've now signed out of those. Maybe I have to do that for all devices before proceeding on my main computer ? Hope this helps ? Cheers

Hi Sumit, sorry one more thing that might help. I'm currently on a laptop i got in the last few months, and well after I finished working for the company in question. On this one, no mention at all of the old work email, which is great. So it seems that any other devices I had at the time of working for the company in question still have mention of the old work email address. Even if I've logged out of the old work email address. And only if I try to add another account to either Outlook or One Drive. I feel like we are making progress on this. There is one more device i need to check, i'm completely logged out of any work accounts, which i will do by the end of the week. PS, I last worked for the company back in December last year. So even if I tried to log back in to my old work account, I wouldn't succeed, as they have removed any access I have ( which is fine :) ).

Thank you. Did you remove Onedrive and reinstalled?

Hi again Sumit, i'll try your suggestions first thing tomorrow morning. Also, just out of interest, the above is what i get if i try to add another account in Outlook. So just that and similar when I try to add anything to OneDrive ( have sent those images in previous comments ). Hope that helps also ?

Hi Sumit, one other thought is Microsoft Teams. I did log into that for work when i was working at the company. But if i say "Add another account" it will bring up the old work email address / account. I also went into the Credential Manager and deleted anything i could find that had the old employers details. I thought that might help, but not sure it has.

Is it there in Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School? You can click Manage > Disconnect to solve this.

Hi Sumit, yes the thing that prompted me to check was the message "Sign in to turn on offline mode again". I was already signed into my personal one drive , but it also offered my old work email address to as an option to sign in. I haven't used that work email for 6 months.

And also when I check my mobile phone, it still had my work email address under ( select an account ) in the "business" section, if wanting to sign in to one drive in addition to my personal account.

Hi, this is what I see, but i haven't used this email for 6 months and password is no longer applicable.
