Using Outlook for Android for personal email and calendar management
On Outlook for Android, the Junk Email folder is just another mail folder and does not show as “junk mail” on the home screen. To see and open it:
- Open the Outlook app on the Android phone.
- From the main mail view, tap the account icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left.
- In the list that opens, tap the drop-down arrow next to the email account to expand all folders.
- Look for a folder named Junk, Junk Email, or similar in that list and tap it to open.
- Find the message needed and open it or tap any links from there.
If the message is not in Junk on the phone but is in Junk on the laptop, ensure the same account and same mailbox are configured in Outlook for Android, then refresh the folder list and Junk folder.
If using Outlook.com in a browser instead of the app, also check the Junk Email folder there and mark the message as Not junk so future messages from that sender go to the Inbox instead.
