In this case, let us try to do these steps to fix the corrupted Hello credentials.
- Go to Settings > Account > Your account.
- Select "Sign in with a local account instead" and set up the password for this account.
- Remove all Windows Hello method, if you cannot delete some, delete as much as possible.
- Type "Command Prompt" in the search bar and select "Run as administrator".
- Type these commands one-by-one:
- takeown /f C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc /r /d y
- icacls C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc /grant administrators:F /t
- rd /s /q C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc
- Restart your computer and recreate Windows Hello again.
