I have Windows 10 but upgraded until October 2026. I have always only had two images appearing when I need to login. I know how to get other images from the Personalise link after logging in but how can this be done before I login? Many thanks, Moderator note: PII removed

    I understand how frustrating it can be when you would like to know how to change or manage the images shown on the Windows 10 sign‑in (login) screen before you log into Windows. 

    To help identify the fastest resolution, please confirm the following:  

    • Are you currently using Windows Spotlight, Picture, or Slideshow for the Lock screen settings? 
    • Is the issue that the same two images keep repeating, or that new images never appear at all?

    It is not possible to set the login screen or Lock Screen images from outside Windows before you log into Windows, that can only be done from inside the Personalization settings in the Settings app.

    Are you unable to change the images from inside the settings window.
