Hi All,

Am basically doing it manually by importing contacts and provisioning shared profiles, or accounts. Is there a way to have it automatically?

Hello @Obinna Hart,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you would like to automatically sync GAL contacts to mobile devices, instead of manually importing them each time.

I completely understand how inconvenient this limitation can be. However, Microsoft currently does not offer any built‑in method for automatic GAL-to-mobile syncing. This behavior is expected, as mobile devices (iOS and Android) sync only personal mailbox contacts and do not synchronize organizational directories such as the GAL by default.

Since this capability is important for your workflow, I strongly recommend submitting your suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Portal. This is the official platform where feature requests are reviewed by the product engineering team and considered for future product improvements. Sharing your feedback there will help bring attention to this need and may influence upcoming enhancements in Exchange or Outlook mobile.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
