I have a Microsoft account it has just been suspended. There is an option on the email to login to submit an appeal, but when I log in I'm told my account is suspended so I cannot log in. Any ideas please on how I can get through to Microsoft to lodge an appeal? Thanks.

If your Microsoft account has been suspended and you cannot log in to submit an appeal, you can try the following steps:

    1. Wait for a while: Sometimes, accounts are temporarily suspended due to suspicious activity. Waiting for a period (usually around 24 hours) before trying again may help.
    2. Use a different device or browser: Attempt to log in from a different device or browser to see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you cannot access your account to submit an appeal, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support directly. You can do this by visiting the Microsoft support page and selecting the option to recover your account or get help with account issues.
    4. Provide necessary information: When contacting support, be ready to provide any relevant information that can help verify your identity, such as previous passwords, account details, or any other information related to your account.

These steps should help you in getting through to Microsoft to lodge your appeal regarding the account suspension.

    Hi,

If you received a message saying that your account has been suspended when signing in, it may be due to activity that goes against Microsoft’s Terms of Use.

Do you have an active verification email address or phone number linked to your account? Have you tried resetting your password?
