I'm having strange email addresses showing up on my icon on my Samsung phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. After first installing it the icon looks fine, but after using the app the email addresses show up again. ******@outlook.com and ******@outlook.com

I looked in my account for those addresses and did not have a match. Not sure where to look to get rid of them. Thoughts?????? Thank You!

Hello,

That looks like signs of a compromised account, normally when you open outlook like that your other accounts should be what’s displayed, if these aren’t familiar to you then your account may be compromised.

First setup two factor authentication on your account to make sure that only the person with your phone can have access to your account.

Afterwards change your password. Then you need to make sure your account is signed out everywhere, since your account might be logged in somewhere else.

Make sure to setup two step verification first before changing your password, Microsoft security is a bit trigger happy when a password change happens without two step verification.

After doing all that your account should be safe.

Hope this helps,

JC
