Hi. When I try to insert icons into Microsoft applications, the system navigates to a "Pictures" folder that does not contain anything. I used to have access to different icons I can select. The same thing happens if I try to insert a Stock Images picture.

Hi,

Sometimes Office just "forgets" it has access to all those icons and stock images. A couple of things that usually help are signing out of Office and signing back in kind of like giving it a little wake-up call. Also, double-check that you’re online and not stuck behind a firewall or VPN that might be blocking the content. And if it’s still acting up, running a quick Office repair often does the trick; it’s like giving Office a little tune-up without messing with your files.

Also just trying to get a clearer picture, are you on a personal Microsoft 365 account or a work/school account? It can make a difference because features like icons and stock images sometimes behave differently depending on the account type. Also, did this issue start recently after an update, or has it been happening for a while?

Kind regards,
