How do I fix incoming emails being rejected?

Recently I've been randomly getting incoming emails (to hotmail.com) being rejected although sometimes they do get through but the sender is told they haven't.

The sender gets something like:

The sender's domain in the 5322.From address doesn't meet the authentication requirements defined for the sender. To learn how to fix this see: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2319303 Spf= Fail , Dkim= Pass , DMARC= Pass

How do I, as the receiver, fix this?

    Hello,

Starting May this year, Microsoft started mandating the configuration of SPF, DKIM and DMARC for high volume senders. See the blog post here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoftdefenderforoffice365blog/strengthening-email-ecosystem-outlook%E2%80%99s-new-requirements-for-high%E2%80%90volume-senders/4399730

As the error suggested, sender's domain Spf and Dkim failed verification here hence Microsoft can reject it. This is not something Microsoft can fix, but it needs to be fixed on Sender's end. Have your friend contact their email service provider, and provide the error message specifically the spf and dkim part to their support.
