Hey there!
I'm here to help.
If you've purchased the Microsoft 365 Basic plan and are seeing only 5GB of storage instead of the promised 100GB, it's likely that there's an issue with how the subscription is applied to your account. Did you purchase it today? If yes, then I would suggest you to wait for few more hours to reflect the storage as there could be some sync issue causing this.
Can you sign in to account.microsoft.com/services. Make sure the Microsoft 365 Basic plan appears under your active subscriptions.
Next, check your actual OneDrive storage by going to onedrive.live.com, clicking on "Manage storage," or going directly to onedrive.live.com/?id=Account.Manage. Here, you should see a breakdown of your total storage, used space, and remaining storage. If it still shows only 5GB, try signing out of your Microsoft account from all devices and then signing back in. This can sometimes trigger a refresh in your OneDrive quota.
Also, make sure you're logged in with the same account you used to purchase the plan. Many people accidentally use a different Microsoft account, and subscriptions do not transfer between accounts.
To report this issue, you can send email to Onedrive team using the link here:

If after checking all this, you're still facing the issue, it’s best to contact Microsoft Support.
Go to support.microsoft.com, choose the appropriate product (Microsoft 365 or OneDrive), and reach out through their chat or callback options. Provide your order number and account details so they can investigate and manually fix the issue if needed.

I hope it helps.
