How to send emails after hacking

My email account appears to have been hacked. I’ve changed passwords, have 2 step verification (already had this via Authenticator app) and have deleted the ‘rule’ added - which put all my newly received emails into conversation history. Now, my emails won’t send. I get this message when try to send :

This message couldn't be delivered because the sending email address was not recognized as a valid sender. The most common reason for this error is that the email address is, or was, suspected of sending spam. Contact the organization's email admin for help and give them this error message.

Can anyone advise please?

Thank you !

Hi Claire McKie,

Thanks for using Microsoft product and posting in the Microsoft Q&A. I'm sorry to hear your email account might have been hacked.

In this situation, you'll need to reach out to your IT team or Global Administrator. They can check if your email account is listed under Restricted Users in Office 365. If it is, they can unblock you. Once your account is unblocked, any sending restrictions should be removed within about an hour.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates. If the answer is helpful, please click "Accept Answer" and kindly upvote it so other users having the same problem can find the answer faster.

I wish you all the best.
