Samsung OneUI 7.0 update causes WORD to not open

I recently got the Samsung One UI 7.0 upgrade. (It was forced.) Now WORD, EXCEL, and M365 Copilot will not open. There is a little flash when I try to open them, but no message or other visual. Samsung support has had me clear all cache on the phone, and do a settings reset. I have uninstalled, re-installed, and shut down my phone numerous times. Any ideas?

Based on experiences so far, I suspect any Microsoft Office app that is out of date or has permissions problems could be the culprit.

While this may not be the total list, a search gives this:

The suite currently includes a word processor (Word), a spreadsheet program (Excel), a presentation program (PowerPoint), a notetaking program (OneNote), an email client (Outlook) and a file-hosting service client (OneDrive).

Different search results indicate may need to add/check M365 Copilot, Microsoft Office Mobile (old and the culprit for some), Publisher, Access, Skype, InfoPath, and Power Platform.

See if you have an old version of OneNote or some other Office app. OneNote was the culprit for me
