    Hi Mani_333IT,

    Nice to meet you!

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

We understand that after upgrading from the free version of Microsoft Planner to the Premium license, you're now experiencing frequent session expirations both in the Teams app and in your browser. This behavior can be disruptive, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

I'd suggest trying the following steps:

    1. Clear Browser and App Cache

    • In your browser, clear cookies and cached data.
    • In Teams (desktop or mobile), sign out completely and sign back in.
    • If using Teams mobile, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

    2. Use Outlook or Planner via Direct Web Access

    • Instead of accessing Planner through Teams, try using Planner Web or Project for the Web directly.
    • These portals may offer more stable session handling for premium plans.

    3. Check License Assignment

    • Confirm that your Planner and Project Plan 3 license is correctly assigned in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    • If you previously used a trial license, ensure it has been fully replaced with the subscription license to avoid token conflicts.

    4. Try a Different Browser or Device

    • Test Planner access on a different browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox) or device to rule out local issues.

    5. Report via Admin Center

    • If the issue persists, we recommend your Microsoft 365 administrator open a support ticket via the Admin Center. This allows our engineering team to investigate session logs and token behavior specific to your tenant.
    • The official Microsoft 365 admin center

    Notes

    • Planner Premium features are tied to Project Plan licenses, and some advanced capabilities may redirect users to Project for the Web for full access, click here.
    • Session instability may be temporary as Microsoft continues to roll out Planner Premium features across environments, click here.

Please let us know if you need further clarification or assistance. I really appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you further.

    Warm Regards,

Chris-DKN - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist.
