Filters and Hidden Columns in SharePoint Excel just randomly unfilter and unhide themselves

Hello,

We have created several excel sheets which we then move to become sharepoint files. Each user has created their own sheet view in any given file, and is supposed to work in their view, as there can be 2-4 of us in the sheet at the same time. We each apply our own hidden columns and filters to the file for the part we are working in. Randomly, while working, the sheet will just unhide all columns or unfilter itself in sheet view. This happens to each of us. Even if we choose to edit in Excel and not in sharepoint, it happens. Sharepoint defaults to Microsoft Edge office 365 excel app. How do we stop this from happening? It is super frustrating.

I am also experiencing the same situation. No one is changing it. We are finding that all of our spreadsheets are un-hiding once opened. Interesting that it is not just our institution that it is happening with but others also. I have spent way to many hours trying to fix this. Very frustrating for us non-techie folks.
