A video editing tool developed by Microsoft, designed to make video creation easy and accessible for everyone.
Hello! Laura Savino
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community
I understand that you need help with creating/inserting a clip for making intro with the use of Clipchamp. I will do my best to help you in any case if my troubleshooting steps are not working for you, please let me know as we have a dedicated team for Clipchamp.
To add an intro clip to your video in Clipchamp, you can follow these steps:
- Open your project in Clipchamp.
- Click on the "Add Media" button in the left-hand menu.
- Select the intro clip you want to add from your computer.
- Drag and drop the intro clip to the beginning of your timeline.
- If necessary, adjust the length of the intro clip by dragging the edges of the clip in the timeline.
- To keep all the lines in sync, make sure that the intro clip is the same length as the rest of your video. You can do this by adjusting the length of the intro clip or trimming the rest of your video to match the length of the intro clip.
- Preview your video to make sure everything is in sync.
If the first one doesn't work you can try this one. To insert a clip or black screen at the beginning of your video in Clipchamp, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Clipchamp editor and select the video you want to edit.
- Click on the Content Library tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the Visuals dropdown arrow and select Backgrounds.
- Drag and drop a black background video onto the timeline below your video.
- If you want to add a clip, drag and drop it onto the timeline below the black background video.
- To ensure that everything stays synced, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and click on all the assets on your timeline that you would like to edit at once. Your assets will highlight in green.
- Click on the Effects tab on the property panel, then click on an effect to apply to all videos
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Vince
