Experiencing an error message in Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 on a Windows 11 PC that states "Excel ran out of resources to calculate one or more formulas" every time an entry prompts the calculation of other cells. The file size is under 10 MB, and no macros or add-ins are being used. The same message also appears when trying to save the file. Any suggestions for resolving this issue?

hi Anshul, welcome in community

i’m Alvise, an independent consultant and I can understand your concern and, please, don't worry I am here to help you

try the following suggestions:

  1. In Excel, go to File > Options > Formulas > Calculation Options > Manual > turn off Recalculate Workbook Before Saving. After that, please test again.

  1. Disable hardware graphics acceleration, go to File > Options > Advanced > Display > Disable hardware graphics acceleration. let me know how it goes
