I found a better solution that has been working for the last few days! Go into device manager --> network adapters --> marvell avastar wireless-AC network controller right click and select properties --> advanced and select wake on pattern match --> change from enabled to disabled! Hope this helps some of you! I haven't had to do the enable disable adapter for days which was a solution albeit an annoying one.
Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller always has an error after sleep
When starting after sleep Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller always has an error and therefore I have to disabled it and the enabled it to restart the WiFi connection. I do not want to leave network controllers on during sleep. This started happening after the June 2nd update. Please fix at your end and reissue the update. I do not really want to have to disable and reenable the controller every time. Thank you.

2025-10-18T12:08:18.59+00:00 The problem is specifically related to the latest Avastar Marvell driver released by Microsoft, version 15.68.17022.122
I was able to find a previous version of the driver 15.68.17021.121 that does seem to work, but I don't know what other issues 121 may cause.
You can download a .cab of the previous drivers from the following Microsoft website.
https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=marvell%20semiconductors%20
Choose the 121 driver, or other previous driver. Download the cab. Double click on the cab to open it, and move the files out of the cab into a folder on your computer.
Open Device manager and choose to update the driver, with files on your disk. Then choose the folder where you placed these extracted files.
NOTE: the driver IS signed by Microsoft, so you won't get any errors. This is an official previous release, from a Microsoft website.
In addition to complaining to Microsoft, please go to the Marvell website and click, "Talk to us" and fill out the form to submit a complaint about driver 122 for the Marvell Avastar wifi card.

Perhaps someone will pay attention to this problem.

2025-08-22T16:51:06.5133333+00:00 Same here.
I created a PowerShell script to disable/enable the device automatically:
# Name of the device as it appears in Device Manager $DeviceName = "Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller" # Find the device $device = Get-PnpDevice | Where-Object { $_.FriendlyName -eq $DeviceName } if ($null -eq $device) { Write-Host "Device '$DeviceName' not found." -ForegroundColor Red return } Write-Host "Disabling device: $($device.FriendlyName)" Disable-PnpDevice -InstanceId $device.InstanceId -Confirm:$false Start-Sleep -Seconds 2 # Wait briefly before re-enabling Write-Host "Re-enabling device: $($device.FriendlyName)" Enable-PnpDevice -InstanceId $device.InstanceId -Confirm:$falseHow to Write and Run PowerShell scripts
(The script must be run in an elevated PowerShell window because enabling/disabling devices requires administrative permissions.)
Then you can create a shortcut to it (adjust the execution policy as needed).
Hope this helps while we're waiting for a fix.

2025-07-18T14:38:16.9+00:00 I found a quick work around which is to leave the Computer Management window open and just Right click on Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller and select Disable device. It asks if I am sure - click yes. Then after it reloads the menu, Right click it again and this time select Enable device. The Wifi pops back on immediately.
Meanwhile, Microsoft have not responded.
