I've tried installing the update several times, but at a certain point, the system says something went wrong and reverts everything to the way it was before.

Hi @Enrica Bernabucci

To resolve the issue, please open Command Prompt (admin) and run the following commands:

cmd.exe

reg.exe add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Bfsvc" /v EspPaddingPercent /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

mountvol Y: /s

del /q Y:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\Fonts\*.ttf

Post the output here.

Try to install the updates now.

    Hi,

If possible, please access Disk Management via the Start menu search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here.

This error could be due to a lack of space on the EFI partition or third-party software interfering with the installation of the 26H2 build update.

Open the Command Prompt (as administrator) and run the following commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. Wait for the process to finish, then restart the computer.

Next, perform a clean boot and consider uninstalling any applications you do not use.

    Thanks.
