Hello Donna, I just reviewed this sender's public domain records, specifically for SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, they were not set up at all. That's the reason Microsoft reject their emails.

    User's image

Microsoft is now requiring business senders, especially high volumn senders to set up these three records. These records basically proved that they are who they say they are, since email spoofing is a real threat nowadays. If these records are not set up, Microsoft cannot verify that they are truly sent by LakeCityTravel.com and can be spoofed, hence it was rejected.

Unfortunately only domain owner can access their DNS records to add these three records, Once added, their emails should be accepted again. Sorry, this is not something you can fix on their end.

Remove LakeCityTravel.com and both addresses from Classic Outlook’s Blocked Senders list, then add the domain to Safe Senders and request a new test message.

    Check Classic Outlook filtering

    1. Open Classic Outlook for Windows.
    2. Select Home → Block (or Junk) → Junk E-mail Options.
    3. Open Blocked Senders.
    4. Remove:
      • Either individual LakeCityTravel address
      • LakeCityTravel.com or @LakeCityTravel.com
    5. Open Safe Senders → Add.
    6. Enter LakeCityTravel.com, select OK, and then OK again.

Email addresses are not case-sensitive, so LakeCityTravel.com and LakecityTravel.com represent the same domain. Classic Outlook sends mail from blocked addresses or domains to Junk Email; adding a trusted address or domain to Safe Senders prevents Outlook’s junk filter from classifying it as junk.^1^

Check Junk Email, Deleted Items, and all other folders for earlier messages. Also review File → Manage Rules & Alerts for a rule that deletes or moves messages from these senders.^2^

Determine whether Classic Outlook or the mail server is involved

Sign into your provider’s webmail and search for the sender’s complete address:

    • Messages appear in webmail: delivery is working, and the issue is limited to Classic Outlook’s display or synchronization. Remove and re-add the account to force a resynchronization. If it is an Exchange account and that fails, close Outlook, press Windows+R, enter %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Outlook\, rename the account’s .ost file, and restart Outlook. Outlook will rebuild its local cache.^3^
    • Messages do not appear in webmail: they did not reach the mailbox, or server-side filtering redirected or rejected them. Rebuilding Outlook or reinstalling it will not address that condition.

If the new test message never reaches webmail

Ask the sender to send a fresh message and check for a non-delivery report (NDR/bounce).

    • If the report contains 5.7.511 Access denied or mentions a banned sending IP, the sender or Lake City Travel’s mail administrator must use Microsoft’s sender delisting portal at https://sender.office.com. They will need the affected sender address and the sending IP shown in the NDR.^4^
    • If there is no NDR and your mailbox is a Microsoft 365 business mailbox, ask its administrator to run an Exchange message trace using the exact sender, your address, and the test time. The trace can identify whether the message was delivered, quarantined, rejected, redirected, or remains pending.^5^
    • If your address ends in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com, ask the sender or their mail administrator to follow Microsoft’s Outlook.com sender-support process. Sender IP/domain reputation and email authentication can affect delivery.^6^

When testing, have the sender start a new message rather than replying to an old thread, and record the exact sending time so an administrator can locate it in message trace.
