    Welcome David Moliterno,

Thank you for reaching out on the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you'd like to have tax-exempt status applied before completing your Windows 11 Pro upgrade purchase, and I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.

To make sure I guide you to the correct resource, could you please confirm the following:

    • Is this purchase being made with a personal Microsoft account (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com) or with a work/school account provided by your organization?
    • Is the tax-exempt status you'd like applied for an organization (such as a business, school, government entity, or nonprofit), or for yourself as an individual?

Once I have this information, I'll be able to share the most appropriate next steps.
