Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
It must feel so concerning to see duplicate subscriptions, Karen Hopkins.
That said, just to make sure I have the correct understanding of your situation, could you clarify where you’re seeing the two subscriptions? Are they listed on your Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions page, shown in your Microsoft order history, or somewhere else? Are those with the same exact name?
If the subscriptions are genuinely duplicated, this can happen if Microsoft 365 was accidentally purchased more than once, e.g. through a separate purchase, another provider, or network error. If you only need one, select Manage on the subscription due December 25 and turn off recurring billing so it does not renew.
In the case that you don't see the option to cancel that subscription, or/and you have already been charged before but only now realize, you would need to contact Microsoft Support. They're the one that can review the subscription history for you, help you remove it, and refund if the option is available:
- Go to Contact Us - Microsoft Support and sign in with your account.
- Enter
contact/billing> Get Help > scroll down > Ask Support Assistant - If the issue persists, specifically state in the chat box that you need direct help.
- The Contact Support button should appear > select the chat in browser option.
Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you. If you don't see chat option, choose another category and ask to escalate.
I wish I could help more directly, but payment-related issues often involve private and personal account information. As Microsoft Q&A is only a user-to-user support forum, we do not have access to such sensitive data to verify your subscriptions and resolve the matter.
