Copilot Notebook cant access beyond 20 document references

I have 365 Premium license & I am account owner. Yet I am unable to work in any notebooks with more than 20 documents. I have tried asking support but they seem just as confused. I also cannot create persistant pages in notebooks. 1 support person implied its locked my account to free tier maybe. I only paid for premium to get the extra copilot benefits. Anyone else face this issue or know how to resolve?

Primarily im using Samsung devices with onedrive and copilot apps. S24 ultra, s25FE, S23 & Tab S6. Issue is present on all devices.

To be clear: I can add many more than 20 to my notebooks but copilot says they dont exist, tells me if i see them & uploaded them but A.I. cant its a problem with its index retrieval. I tested many acenarios, notebooks etc. Consistantly once i reach 20 references, everything beyond 20 is invisible to A.I.

So far I have gone through 4 support tickets spanning 2-3 months. My latest ticket after escalation to the level 3 team, well they had it for 1 week and al I got in response was. And I will paraphrase: We don't know but your issue may get resolved when the next updates rollout. We suggest waiting till then. We will close this ticket. I replied asking for an eta for those updates so i know when to test it & I was told the updates are not published for end user visibility. We are closing this ticket please test again after the next updates and reopen the ticket if still an issue...

Umm.. How exactly am I supposed to work aith this? I am trying to review & assess the copilot/365/azure suite to decide if I invest in this te h stack for setting up AI Agent teams for app development... How on earth can i proceed if my copilot can only work with max of 20 documents?

I'm feeling very let down & at a loss. Hoping someone can help out here with an answer to resolve this or suggest a good alternative to MSFT stack. I have been working with MSFT Azure, MSBI etc. For years. Whats my next best option with a manageable learning curve for an I.T. Consulting pre sales guy, former engineer and PM. But obviously, MSFT is still my 1st choice igf this roadblock can be removed.

Answer from Microsoft level 3 support after extensive rounds of troueshooting with me to replicate the issue 1000 different ways: WE DONT KNOW, MAYBE A FUTURE UPDATE WILL RESOLVE IT FOR YOU. WE WILL CLOSE THE TICKET NOW BUT YOU CAN REOPEN IT AFTER COPILOT UPDATES ROLLOUT IF ITS NOT RESOLVED.. Then when I asked for eta to next updates I was told no, they dont make that public... ?? I'm seeing many people facing this issue. No solution is known. Microsoft should stop advertising a 300 document limit
