Using the New Outlook for Mac features in business environments
Hi Kelvin,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on the information I found, in British Columbia, the time zone in New Outlook for Mac will not automatically move back by one hour in November 2026. If New Outlook for Mac is still using the old Pacific time zone, the application may display appointment times one hour off. Therefore, users need to switch to the new (UTC-07:00) Pacific Time (British Columbia) time zone.
At this time, you can change the time zone in Outlook on the web to the new time zone by following these steps:
- Click Settings > Calendar > View.
- Under Time zone, select (UTC-07:00) Pacific Time (British Columbia).
However, for New Outlook for Mac, based on my testing environment, this time zone has not yet been added to the application.
In this case, I recommend submitting feedback about this issue to the Microsoft Outlook development team so they can review it and consider adding this time zone for New Outlook for Mac users.
You can submit feedback by selecting Help > Feedback > Report a Problem.
In the meantime, you can temporarily use Outlook on the web and select the (UTC-07:00) Pacific Time (British Columbia) time zone to prevent appointment times from being off by one hour.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.
I look forward to continuing the conversation.
