Using the New Outlook for Mac features in business environments
Hi Mandie,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on your description, I understand that after you send an email, some parts of the email content change in font or font size.
Please try the following steps one by one and let me know whether the issue is resolved:
- Update New Outlook to the latest version
Please check and make sure that you are using the latest version of New Outlook.
- Create a completely new test email
- Select New Email.
- Do not copy and paste any content from Word, websites, or previous emails.
- Type a few lines of text directly into the email.
- Temporarily do not add a signature.
- Send the email and check whether the font or font size changes after it is sent.
If the test email displays correctly, the issue may be related to copied and pasted content or the email signature.
- Check copied content
When you need to copy content into an email, use the Match Destination Formatting option. Then send another test email and let me know whether the issue occurs again.
- Recreate the email signature
- Recreate the signature directly in Outlook.
- Do not copy the signature from Word, a website, or a previous email.
- Send another test email to check whether the issue still occurs.
- Reset the default font
Outlook > Settings > Composing
Check and set the same font and font size for:
- New mail
- Reply or forward
I hope this information is helpful.
