    Hello,

May I please know if you can normally sign in to your Microsoft account online here?

    https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage

(Open a private browsing tab and see if you can sign in with your account on the Security Settings page of your Microsoft account) .

This will help me determine whether the problem is with your account or with the 'Get Help' app on Windows.

If you are having trouble signing in online, please share the exact error message here.

If you can sign in successfully online, but not on the 'Get Help' app on Windows.

    Try resetting the App:

    • Search for 'Get Help' in the search bar on the taskbar.
    • Right-click the results and select 'App Settings'.
    • Scroll down until you find 'Repair'.
    • If repairing the app does not resolve the issue, try resetting it.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Verify whether the sign-in problem is only in Get Help or affects the Microsoft account more broadly.
      • Use the Microsoft Sign-in Helper.
      • If the tool detects an account problem, follow the steps it provides.
    2. Open Get Help again from Windows:
      • Select Start.
      • Type get help.
      • Select Get Help.
    3. If the script error appears only in Get Help, use Microsoft support from the web instead:
    4. If the support sign-in page loops or fails, try browser-based workarounds:
      • Open a private or incognito window.
      • Try a different browser.
      • Disable browser extensions temporarily, especially ad blockers or privacy extensions.
      • If available, try Microsoft Edge.
    5. If sign-in still fails, use the Windows Get Help app access path from Settings:
      • Open Settings.
      • Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
      • Follow the link to Get Help.

Important: Microsoft support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details.
