I just paid for my Microsoft subscription. I got an email saying my account was renewed but there was not confirmation number, no account number no information on how much was paid, or listing of the time it is active. Just a generic email that can be sent by anyone. Please send me a proper reciept. Thank you.

    Hi!

I am not a Microsoft employee, but I will try to help. Check https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders > Sign in with your account (make sure it is the same account used to purchase the subscription) > and check the order history to see if the purchase appears.

You can also view the product at https://account.microsoft.com/services. If the purchase was successful, it will appear there.

If it does not appear in either place, either you purchased the subscription on a different account without realizing it, or the purchase was not approved.

A proper receipt can be obtained from the Microsoft account that was used to buy the subscription.

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    2. Sign in with the Microsoft account connected to the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    3. Select the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    4. Open Manage.
    5. Go to Payment & billing or Order history.
    6. Open the receipt or billing history entry for the renewal.

To verify the subscription term and status:

    1. Go to the Payment & billing page: https://account.microsoft.com/services/office/billing
    2. Review the subscription details.
      • If it shows Has recurring billing, the subscription is active and set to renew on the date shown.
      • If it shows Expires on [date], that is the current end date unless renewed again.

If the renewal email looks generic or suspicious, check the subscription expiry date and billing history directly in the Microsoft account. If the dates or charges do not look correct, contact Microsoft Support through the support contact flow.
