Hello everyone,

Our company's Azure subscription has been disabled due to an alleged unpaid invoice, however, the payment has already been successfully made and processed.

We opened a support ticket, but it was automatically categorized as Severity C, which is causing a total business outage for our production environment. We cannot wait for the standard response time.

We urgently need guidance or an escalation path to reach the billing support team so they can verify our payment and reactivate our subscription immediately. What is the fastest way to get urgent assistance for a billing suspension?

Thank you in advance

If the payment has already been processed and the subscription is still disabled, the documented next step is to contact Azure support.

    Fastest supported path:

    1. In the Azure portal, open Help + Support.
    2. Select Create a support request.
    3. Choose Billing as the issue type.
    4. Select the affected subscription.
    5. Continue through the support flow until Create a support request is available.
    6. In the request details, clearly state that:
      • the invoice has already been paid and processed,
      • the subscription remains disabled,
      • production is down due to the suspension.

    Relevant documented points:

    • Billing and subscription support is available at no cost.
    • If payment was processed but the subscription is still disabled, Azure support is the required path.
    • After payment, subscription reactivation can take up to 24 hours.
    • After reactivation, most resources resume automatically, but there can still be a delay in creating or managing resources. If that post-reactivation delay exceeds 30 minutes, contact Azure Billing Support.

If the subscription was disabled for non-payment, the Azure portal banner can take to Settle Balance. If the balance is already settled and the subscription is still disabled, the support request is the correct escalation path.
