Hi!

Before proceeding, please send me your system's current build:

Press WINDOWS + R > Type "winver" (without quotes) > Take a screenshot of the window and send it to me.

This is a known issue in the community. It is a bug that was caused by an update in 2025 but has since been fixed. However, it may persist if you are on an older build. Please check the topic below:

Please note the following important points:

Did you use the drag function previously, or have you just discovered that it is possible?
If you used it before, did the problem occur immediately after an update, or the installation of an add-in or program?

If the problem occurred following a specific event, please provide the details.

I understand that you have the same or similar issue to the one discussed in this thread. But you will probably not get any help by adding to an existing post.

I would suggest that you start a new thread using the "Ask a question" button at the top of this page to create a new Question and include the details for your specific problem and what steps you have already tried to fix it.

This provides much higher visibility to your issue than adding on to an existing post, which is only seen by people who are already following this question.
