I have selected products, and then my license. When I click on "subscription length and billing frequency", the window doesn't load.

For a Microsoft 365 Business Basic subscription, the steps depend on the billing account type.

    1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. If using Simplified view, select Subscriptions. If using Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
    3. Select the Business Basic subscription.
    4. If the page loads correctly:
      • MCA billing account: In Billings, under Subscription length & billing frequency, select Edit settings, choose the new billing frequency, and Save. The change is scheduled and takes effect at renewal.
      • MOSA billing account: In Subscription and payment settings, select Edit billing frequency, choose Pay yearly, and select Change.

    Before changing billing frequency:

    • For MCA, the required role is Billing account owner or contributor, or Billing profile owner or contributor.
    • For MOSA, the required role is at least Billing Administrator.

Since Subscription length & billing frequency is not loading, first confirm the account type and that the signed-in account has the required billing role. If the pane still does not open, use Microsoft 365 support.

    Hi Genevieve,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

You are on the right track. Changing your subscription from monthly to yearly billing can be done under Subscription length and billing frequency.

In this case, please try signing in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using an InPrivate/Incognito browser window, and then check whether you can complete the process again.

If Subscription length and billing frequency still does not load after you sign in using an InPrivate/Incognito window, you can contact Microsoft Billing Support directly for assistance with checking and changing your subscription settings on the system.

You can go to Microsoft 365 admin center > Help & support, then enter your request, for example: “I need to contact the Billing team to change my subscription billing frequency.”

You can also refer to the following article for instructions on how to create a support ticket:

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
