Hi, I need help recovering my old Hotmail account, which I've had since 2017.

I no longer have access to the phone number registered for security verification.

I am still signed into the Microsoft account through Minecraft, but I cannot access Outlook or update my security information because it keeps asking for my old phone number.

Could you please advise me on the official recovery options available?

To point you in the right direction, could you tell me:

When you try to sign in, does the screen show any other way to verify besides the old phone number, such as an alternate email or the Microsoft Authenticator app?
What exactly does the decline email say? Does it say there wasn't enough information, or does it mention two-step verification?
Do you know if two-step verification was turned on for this account?
Did you fill out the form on the device you use for Minecraft, at home?
