My pin and the reset pin are disabled. The password that I recorded is also not working. How can I get into my computer?

To help me determine the best way to bypass this lock and get you back into your system, could you please let me know if your login profile is linked to an online Microsoft Account using an email or if it is a Local Offline Account?

2026-11-06T17:17:02.52+00:00 Since your computer is connected to Wi-Fi but still rejecting the new password, the system likely hasn't synced with the cloud yet or the login screen network is experiencing a lag. To fix this, please click the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom-right corner to disconnect and reconnect, or use an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection. You can also click the Accessibility icon to open the On-Screen Keyboard and type your password using the mouse to prevent any keyboard layout errors. If the issue persists, hold the Shift key while clicking Power, Restart, then navigate to Troubleshoot, Advanced options, Startup Settings then Restart and select Safe Mode with Networking to force the update.
